Raidho (pronounced "Ride-o") Acoustics is one of Denmark's foremost high-end loudspeaker-makers. In its facility at Pandrup near the northwest coast of the Jutland peninsula and in other facilities nearer to Aarhus, on Jutland's northeast coast, it assembles all its own drivers and crossovers. The only items not fabricated on-site are the beautifully finished lacquered cabinets.

In case you wondered, "Raidho" is the name of a Danish rune, whose meaning is "to journey or travel" and by extension "to explore and discover." The name was chosen quite deliberately by Raidho founders Michael Borresen and Lars Christensen.

Raidho Acoustics is currently jointly owned by Borresen, Christensen, and the Dantax Corporation, whose CEO, John Jensen, also once owned Scan-Speak (among many other companies).
