The best loudspeaker in the world?

Well, on the basis of my relatively short listen in Pandrup it's too early to say with confidence. However, even on a short listen I can say this much for certain: Along with the Avantgarde Trio/Basshorns (and the other obvious suspects from Wilson, Magico, Rockport, Focal, MBL, and Raidho itself) Raidho's gorgeous new flagship--the $210k, diamond/quasi-ribbon D 5 floorstander--is unquestionably a top-rank contender for the laurels.

Incorporating all sorts of improvements over the C 4.1 (many lessons were learned from the C 4.1)--the diamond-diaphragm midrange drivers and woofers, the Borresen-designed capacitors and reformulated crossovers, and a new port system that seemingly combines the speed of a sealed box with the weight and impact of a ported one being chief among them--the D 5 was at once breathtakingly gorgeous and sensationally realistic on all of the music I heard (including the LPs I brought with me to Denmark).
