All photos taken handheld with the Mamiya 7 II rangefinder camera and the Mamiya 7 II 80mm f/4 lens and Mamiya 7 II 43mm lens on Ilford Pan F Plus, Fuji Neopan ACROS 100, Fuji Neopan 400 Professional, and Kodak Tr-X (320) film. These are not only the sharpest medium-format (6x7) camera and lenses I've ever used (and these are low-res scans!); they are the only one I can hand-hold comfortably. The Mamiya 7 II is little bigger than a 35mm SLR. (Camera and lens weigh a grand total of 2 lbs., 8.5 oz.!) There are good reasons why folks consider this the "best hand-holdable camera in the world," and why the 7 II lenses are justly celebrated as high among the finest available for medium fornat.
